Finance Department Director Kevin McCarthy and his co-workers oversee the day-to-day management of the city's financial resources.
Finance Department responsibilities include:
- Maintaining controls to ensure city funds are properly managed.
- Maintaining detailed financial records
- Keeping the City Council and city manager up to date on the city's financial position
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintaining the employee payroll
- Providing strategic planning for capital improvement programs
