City Attorney Stephen P. Deitsch performs legal duties assigned by the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency Board.

His responsibilities include:

• Providing legal opinions
• Preparing ordinances, resolutions and contracts
• Representing the city in civil and criminal prosecution
• Attending City Council and Planning Commission meetings to provide legal advice
