Growth on the Horizon for University of California, Riverside

 

INDIAN WELLS, (CA) What does the future hold for the University of California, Riverside (UCR) in the Coachella Valley and Riverside County? This topic and more are what members of the League of California Cities will discuss during their General Meeting, entitled Visioning of UCR in Riverside County to be held on Monday, July 10, 2006 at the Palm Desert Campus of the University of California, Riverside. The evening will begin with a tour of the Richard J. Heckmann International Center for Entrepreneurial Management at 6:00 p.m., to be followed by dinner and the program at 7:00 p.m.

 

University of California, Riverside speakers scheduled for this General Meeting, which is not open to the public, include: Cindy Giorgio, assistant chancellor; Carolyn Stark, Executive Director (Interim), UCR Palm Desert; and Chris Buydos, executive director of governmental and community relations and technology collaboration.

 

To date, representatives from fourteen member cities of the League of California Cities are expected to attend this important event.
