Palm Springs Art Museum

psmuseum_1A cultural showplace founded in 1938, the Palm Springs Art Museum is an educational institution that promotes a greater understanding of art and performing arts through collections, exhibitions and programs. The Museum's permanent art collection features 19th, 20th, and 21st century works focusing on contemporary California, classic Western American, Native American and PreColumbian art.

psmuseum_2In addition, the Annenberg Theater keeps an eclectic calendar from ballet to modern dance, opera to jazz, and comedy to drama. The museum offers art classes, special events, hikes, lectures, films, two sculpture gardens, cafe and a new online museum store filled with unique items.

For the past five years, the City of Indian Wells has sponsored a special exhibition; residents have received complimentary tickets.
